Do I need surf experience to book a lesson?
No. Lessons suit complete beginners through to intermediate surfers, and surf guiding is for people who already ride.
Where do the surf lessons take place?
Around Tamraght, near Taghazout, at whichever beach break suits the day's swell, wind and tide.
When is the best time to surf in Tamraght?
There are rideable waves nearly year-round, and conditions vary by month. Tell Simo your travel dates and he will explain what to expect.
How much does a surf lesson cost?
Group lessons start from €40 per person, surf guiding from €45 and private lessons from €65. The sunrise and sunset packs are €50 per person, and the full day with lunch is €65. The final price is confirmed on WhatsApp depending on group size.
What do the sunrise and sunset packs include?
Each pack includes a 1.5-hour surf session. The sunrise session is followed by breakfast served on the beach, and the sunset session by a bonfire with tea and Moroccan sweets.
What does the full-day surf include?
Two surf sessions in the day, with lunch included.
What languages are lessons in?
English and French.
